Thank you for shopping at Tognotti's. By placing an order on our website, you signify
your acceptance of the Terms & Conditions set forth herein. Please take a moment
to read through our terms thoroughly. These terms may be updated at any time; please
check back occasionally for updates. As used herein, the term "Tognotti's" refers
to Tognotti's Auto World. Tognotti's, whose home page resides on the Internet at
http://www.tognottisautoworld.com.
Freight & Handling Policies
FREE SAME DAY SHIPPING is Pre-Paid on orders below $250,
for most items, placed
by 6pm EST (except where noted –see below) in the continental USA
and shipped by UPS Ground only.
An additional $2.00 will be charged for adult signature requirement. Additional
delivery days may apply to some items, such as hazardous items, mounted tires and
wheels, truck freight items, and remote delivery areas.
A $9.99 handling charge will be added to each order, including overseas shipments.
Canadian orders are subject to Shipping Brokerage, and GST fees.
For any items not shippable by UPS (that is, needing
to be sent by common carrier freight lines) the customer will be notified and charges
will be quoted prior to shipping. Hazardous materials
must be shipped by ground and will incur charges additional to our normal handling charges.
Truck Freight applies to all items too large for UPS, Fed-Ex, or the Post Office.
These items are assessed extra shipping charges due
to their size. Most Truck Freight items have a standardized shipment rate, one rate
to the terminal, another to your door. If your order included more that one Truck
Freight item, the items may be shipped separately, resulting in multiple
shipping charges.
Actual shipping charges are determined when the items are shipped and could be greater
that than minimum estimated amount. Unless all items are on back order, the minimum
estimated shipping charge will be billed at the time the order is placed and displayed
on your order acknowledgement. If there are any additional fees above the amount
shown on your order acknowledgement, a Customer Service representative will contact
your prior to shipping. Some Truck Freight items have special shipping requirements/charges.
If you choose to have the item shipped to your home, you are responsible for unloading
the item from the carrier’s truck. Lift gate service will incur additional charges
which are not covered by Tognotti’s flat free. Usually, the shipping carrier will
call the phone number we have on file to arrange the delivery day and time. You
must be present to receive and sign for the shipment. DO NOT sign for any package
that shows damage to the outside carton. Have the driver note the damage on the
bill of lading, do not sight it, and refuse it.
Transit times vary for truck shipments due to dispatching and scheduling. After
the order has shipped, you can call us at 1-888-485-5072 to obtain the Pro# for
the shipment. This will allow you to track the order online on the carrier’s website.
Priority Guaranteed 1-2 Day Shipping
We will gladly accommodate any priority shipping requirements, such as Next Day,
2-Day, Saturday, etc. Place your order before 6:00pm (Eastern
Time), Monday through Friday,
and your order will be shipped that day. Charges will
be calculated by UPS method chosen and charged accordingly in addition to the standard
handling fee.
Saturday Delivery (most areas) - Available on orders placed between 6:00 pm (Eastern Time) Thursday
and 3:00 pm (Eastern Time) Friday in the continental USA. A Saturday Delivery charge per package will be added to the Next-Day delivery
charges in addition to the standard handling fee.
Payment Options
Credit Card - We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Make sure
to enter your complete account number and expiration date. For your protection,
we security check all credit card orders.
Money Order, Wire Transfer, Certified Check - Your order
will be shipped within 10 business days upon receipt of your payment to allow for
payment to clear the bank. Please note: Checks returned unpaid by your financial
institution are subject to a service charge of $25.00 or the maximum allowed by
law. Checks returned for insufficient or uncollected funds, together with Service
Charges, may be debited electronically from your account or collected using a bank
draft drawn from your account.

Warranties/Damaged
If an item is suspected of being defective, first read
any manufacturer's literature that may have accompanied the part, then contact the
manufacturer if instructed by the literature. If the problem has still not been
resolved, please contact one of our representatives at 1-888-485-5072 to determine
if an RGA (Return Goods Authorization) can be issued for returning the item to our
warehouse for disposition, replacement or refund. ALL returns MUST be accompanied
by an RGA before it will be accepted for return. NOTE: Used items still under manufacturers warranty may have
to be inspected by a factory representative before a refund or exchange can be authorized. Allow for ample time.
IMPORTANT -
Inspect your shipment upon arrival and
report any damage or shipping related breakage
immediately to the carrier.
Damage
during transit is not considered a defective condition.
Backorder Policy
Even with our large inventory, backorders can occur. If this happens, we will make every
effort to cross-reference the part to a comparable manufacturer’s line. If that
is not an option, you will be notified of the back
order status and estimated time of availability.
